that have the husco hydraulic control valves on them they are a major factory screwup ,,,, agco knows this and their response is to raise the price of the 521912D1 controller to obscene levels i have an MT855C that is eating up these controllers some lasting not even two days i have spent thousands on this machine with no relief in sight,,,,,,,agco tech was here on wednesday to replace two and next day another one died john deere has huscos on their 20 series tractors with no issues so it is definetely and agco screwup but they refuse to be of help ,,,,,thankyou agco,,,its no wonder you are losing market share fast
There are some things that you can do to try and help this situation out when you get new Husco controllers put on.
On the harness where the 4 pin Deutsch connectors plug into the controller on the remote valve assembly you can cut off the old pins/sockets and crimp on new ones. There is a lot of wire harness back there that pulls on these and can somewhat distort the pin/socket so that while the connector fits tight the pins/sockets to not mate that good. You can buy some decent Deutsch crimpers off ebay for 39 bucks, verses the 400 for OEM Deutsch. I personally own several pairs and the only thing I notice is they don't crimp the entire barrel in one shot. So what I do is crimp it once then pull the pin/socket out a little and crimp a second time and then this gets the whole barrel crimped. I can put up with this and only spend a fraction of the OEM crimpers. There are lots of places online that sell Deutsch connectors, pins and sockets that can be bought for a lot less than going to a dealer. I can send you links if you want to know where to source this kind of stuff.
Next thing to do after putting new pins/sockets on is to route the wire harness that plugs into each remote valve so that there is not so much extra harness hanging back there pulling on these connections. Make sure to zip tie them up pretty good once done so there is not much weight on them.
There is also a tin panel that you have to remove to get access to the Husco controllers. You can go to the hardware store and get some of that generic foam weather stripping and stick on the tin panel so that when you put it back on it presses tightly against the Husco controller and it kind of cushions the controller from the vibrations through out the field.
This has been done to several tractors I am aware of that would go though valves like you are experiencing and once these cheap/inexpensive fixes were done stopped from having consent failures. There could already be damage done to the controllers on the machine that have not recently been changed so keep in mind there could be some failures down the road but take this advice for what its worth so that hopefully you can have a better experience with your machine.
I hope this will help you and others out.
