You weren’t doing it right if it was heavy lifting. I can do the transport faster then dropping on a trailer. Using your knee/leg as a ramp to lift the RH outside wheel into position is key.
I also don’t break down the hitch. Have the head adjusted to run without the hitch, then chuck the hitch into the ditch or onto the pickup tailgate
