Down side is quite a bit of heavy lifting and more time consuming than a trailer. My first MacDon had slow speed transport and I bought a trailer for it pretty quick after using the slow speed transport a couple of times. If you only need a trailer to put the header into storage and don't have to transport it much you may be okay with it.
