Yep turned the key on the skidloader and BOOM right under the seat and me. Blew acid all over the place and shattered the battery case. The explosion made my ears ring for a long time after as well.

I was always skeptical about a battery exploding but now I am super cautious around them. Must have been a dead short. Good time to install battery disconnects on things too.
