Stoddard Co. SEMO
I’m kinda in the same phase and leaning towards a 330 turbo till. I uses disk with a 36’ Brillion x fold roller behind it in all of my ridge till ground. The Brillion roller works great and is alot more trouble free than the double basket harrow, I pulled behind it before. The biggest issue with not getting a good seed bed from a tillage tool, providing we’re not working ground that’s to wet is, I’m not getting those planned tillage acres burnt down in a timely fashion. If the weeds and grass aren’t dead at tillage time their root mass creates more clods, which means multiple passes. If they’ve been burnt down, about 2 weeks prior to tillage, then a VT or FC will work with one pass.
