SW Ohio | Last fall we sold our DMI tigermate and bought a 726 finisher. It has a 5 bar coil tine harrow and we pull a JD 200 rolling basket behind it. It will take cornstalks that have sat over winter and make a ready seedbed in one pass. We do run a devastator on our cornhead. Beware they do take more HP to pull than a field cultivator, because its also better to pull them faster. We went from a 30ft cultivator to a 25ft finisher, good match with a 215hp MFWD tractor. | |
