OK Panhandle | I'm a Windows or Linux guy, so I usually get Dell machines. But I stay in the business-grade category, which is the Latitude. Much better build quality than the consumer-grade Inspiron or Vostro.
I purchase Latitudes for the agronomists where I work, and a couple of them are 5+ years old and have been bounced around in the field a lot with no problems. Everything is solid state now, so the only spinning part is the cooling fan. Of course, YMMV. | |
