I have a couple of LaCrosse units, these low cost around $100, I actually have a console in my kitchen and office, that both read the same outside sensors. it's a wireless setup, easy to install. This is the one in the kitchen right now

It will data log on your pc, not as deluxe as a Davis, but it works quite well.
