If I lived out in central SD I would no-till also. They have WAY different soils and are MUCH warmer than mn. To think what works out there and apply that to our clay soils with no heat and alot more moisture is rediculous to say the least.
If you no till on the ridge in sw mn you will take a huge hit on yields period. End of discussuion
