Hannibal, MO | I have always thought about wrapping the exhaust with insulation. I feel a lot of heat comes from the muffler at the corner of the cab. Still a lot coming up thur the floor too. It is also really easy to over charge those systems where they will trip out on high side. Works great in the morning but fads in afternoon heat. Early C had an orfice tube where later ones had expansion valve. My experience is with orfice tube. If you have deluxe HAVC you can go threw screen and it will give you status of AC clutch, pressure switch, duct temp and coil temp. I have the same complaint as you and do not have a solution. | |
