Jon S - 12/14/2009 21:03 I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1992. I also had a choice between Penn State, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had applied and gone to Purdue. Not Iowa State? I've been told that Iowa State is considered by many to be the top Agronomy program in the US, if not the world...not sure of how to validate that, but I've heard it. I think you raised some really valid points. I think I may try to hire on to someone willing to train me and go to school in the evenings and during the winter. What do agronomists do in the midwest during the winter after harvest is in?
