Soil-life, I thought you were an advocate of spring applied dry nitrogen from an earlier post. Or was that just a specific situation?

Sure, But I am an advocate of what Works for each and every individual field and or farm each season.

You will see many of my posts talking about Carbon to N ratios and feeding the soil Life ! We do pre plant all of the N. All that is except what we feed the soil the fall before or during the winter months with N,P,K,S, Micros and Calcium or whatever the Soil Needs to digest and feed the plant.

This is How we get by with NO Planter attachments, NOR any side dress, FEED the SOIL and the SOIL will FEED the Plant efficiently for YOUR Profit.
