Whatever path you choose. In the time it takes to get your degree,agriculture will have changed. Look back at the last six years and see how far we have come. GPS,auto-steer. Sattelite imaging etc. Who knows what the future holds?

 I  think it would be better to get a job at any big operation. Keep your eyes open and go to school at night or winters. You will be learning new things as you learn the reasoning behind them. When you do get out you will have first hand exp. and technical knowledge that will carry you into the future.

 Personality will get you in the field,take all the public speaking classes you can.
