Southwest Illinois
We have a Stieger 350 that is about 10 years old. We did the heater valve shut off and other assorted "tricks" but it always seemed like the AC would fade as the day went. The first thing is to never run it in auto mode. We run the fan wide open and slowly set the temp cooler and we get along great. Had a few 90 degree days last week and never got the temp dial lower than 9 o'clock. We have 2 newer Stiegers and it seems you can run them about anyway you want, but the 350 will drive you nuts if you set the fan to low and cold to MAX.
