So you recommend going to school to compensate for my age? Also, what should I expect as far as pay...with a BS in Agronomy and without?
I would not recommend going to school to compensate for your age. If you are a quick learner and a go getter than it will show. Just be prepared to start at an entry level position and quickly prove that you can do more. I'm lucky enough to have worked for a gentlemen that believes in buying the milk and letting the cream rise to the top.
As far as pay is concerned, I know guys that don't have a college education that work in the field of agronomy that demand as much pay as those with master's degrees. It really boils down to common sense and work ethic.
