WC KS | I would ditto Davis Pro wireless also. Dirt [birds nests] in rain cup as far as mechanical. The the only other problem is remembering configuration after the electricity goes off. The wind cup is up on TV/Windmill Tower.
Davis Pro is wireless to the panal. Then hard wired to computer. Being tied to computer is a lot better for archiving system. There is historical records of weather data. Nice to know the lack of rain [at least in the Great American Desert] and the 50-60 mph winds for insurance and other reasons.
