Subject: RE: Wireless Weather Station

Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

I have a Davis Vantage pro II. Very satisfied with it. The weakness of wireless WX stations is the wireless link. Most use a single frequency that can be susceptible to interference and loss of link. What sets the Davis Vantage Pro apart is its spread spectrum frequency hopping technology. When I look at the logs of the station, the link just plain works always. I think that's worth paying extra for.

Warning: the following link is not for those with tender hides as far as cooler temps.

Chilly up here on the hi-line.
