Subject: RE: Wireless Weather Station

i have had a Davis Vantage Pro 2 up & running for 2 years come Christmas Day. no problems except in the summer once or twice dead bugs clog up the rain cup and i have to remove it and clean to keep rainfall totals & rates up to snuff. paid right at $500.00 +/-

it measure temperatures, rainfall, rates, monthly, yearly, hi/low.......wind speed, wind direction, humidity, wind chill, heat index and many other graphs etc.....type things.

i have mine about 25' above ground on a grain bin, and it shoots a wireless signal to the base station 6ths of a mile away. it is one of those "neat" tools to have at one's disposal.
