If you've never run one full time on three phase, I bet you could start and run it with a couple capacitors and a start relay from a junk AC, and never know the difference. The motor won't have the full power it would on three phase, but I bet it wouldn't affect the operation of the machine, motor being adequately oversized. I've run 10HP three phase motors with capacitors and a manual start switch.
