It’s getting close here anyway. I’m way more patient than 90% of the neighbors. But we’re getting to that point where we have to make sure the corn is in the ground for the crop insurance guarantee.
I still want to believe I’m planting for yield and not just crop insurance. Only a small percentage of corn in in my area of central IA. I’m 20% done and I’m ahead of a lot.
Is it time to "mud it in"?
