Leesburg, Ohio | The "judge not" verse gets taken out of context all the time.
Yes, we are not to condemn others and judge them for eternity, that's God's job, BUT Jesus said we are to be "discerning", which essentially means we are to be a judge of actions, following His advice on what is right and wrong, sinful and not sinful.
Too many want to do sinful things (yes, sometimes me included) and then try to use this verse to claim we shouldn't make any decision at all whether the action was right or wrong.
We must "discern" and "judge" what is right and wrong in our own lives in order to live a biblical life.
