What I did last year is make sort of a long, square tube out of two woven plastic type seed bags, sewing them together with my fischbein hand held sewing machine. I suppose your wife could do it with her home sewing machine.

Anyway, once that's done I use four self tapping screws to hold it to the wood frame around the box opening. Use the chute opener to regulate flow.

Sure, it takes a little fooling around to attach, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the factory made one. If I get around to it I'll snap a couple pictures.
