| We didn't have a true side by side the year we tried the 15s. On one field the perimeter & first few acres were planted to 30s & the rest was 15s. In that field the 15s yielded 19bpa less than the 30s. In the other field the first half was planted to 15s & the other half to 30s. 15s were about 2bpa better. Reason we didn't plant side by side was we were running a JD 1790 at the time & it only had one transimission so we couldn't adjust populations accordingly with side by sides. | |
