Sunnyside, WA | We had JD 4200 hydro. Put 4000 hours on it and always seems to be working on it. Had turf tires also and they seemed to wear out fast or go flat. Traded it and bought a JD 4210 hydro with a 420 loader on it not quite five years ago. I just looked at the hours tonight and it was 5745. Changed the right side front wheel seal a couple weeks ago, did the other side about 1 year ago. pto wouldn't work last week in the cold--it was just a frozen selenoid--little time in a heated room cured that. Tilt steering wheel plastic parts broke once, couple other minor issues that I can't remember. All tires are R4, front ones have been replaced one and rear ones are still original with 50% tread left (and they are TITANS!!!!!!).
We use it everyday and I think I could count on one hand or less over the last five years how many days it has missed due to breakdowns. I don't know if they are better that the blue, orange, or red, but we have had great luck with this one. | |
