Since they have closed where are women shopping that want decent clothes. Tried Chicos and Talbets very little for a conservative shopper. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated by my wife. Hickory
That hurts a little bit. That "older women" part. But I get it.......Sadly. As UsedToBeDentalAssistant says,, Soft Surroundings is nice. Lovely clothes, not overly tailored. Also, depending on her style, take a look at the LandsEnd catalog or website. I always thought of C.J. Banks as more-or-less "teacher clothes"....most things looked like what a good 50 year old 3rd grade teacher would wear. Neither Soft Surroundings nor LandsEnd are that. But between the two, I think she could find things she likes.
ETA: Also, take a look at Serengeti catalog/website. A little less fooofy than Soft Surroundings, a little softer than LandsEnd
