Mississippi Delta
What do you think about going to a 15 row 30 inch spacing? That would let you set your tractors on 90 inch spacing, so you wouldn't have any problems pulling levees, etc. I have been thinking of MAYBE making the switch...........but I gotta couple of guys I harvest corn for that are on 38's and don't wanna have to own two corn heads. The jury is still out on the twins around here, lots of folks going to 30's this year from twin 40's, they weren't too happy with the two rows on top of a bed. Seems like the beds had to be perfect to get a good stand, and with this "special dirt" we have here, perfect beds don't happen often.
