Ethridge, TN
If I may, would you expound on what the problems where with beans??? We are currently looking at doing something different with planters. Currently have 3, and want to get down to just 2, but I need them to be large to cover the acreage. My current considerations are keeping one 24x30" for corn, and redoing one 24x30" to a 36x20", dedicating it to beans/milo. But, if the right weather conditions persist, having 2 planters to do corn with, can be awfully advantageous. Thus the thought of a change for one twin-row, to replace 2 current planters. It would then have the option of corn/beans/milo. Looking at the cost changing the one planter, and locating a used twin that is available, it's "almost" a wash, and the twin is several years newer.
