They are the way to go! I'd be a little surprised if you get responses against going with them. Have a few on silage carts, they just do what they should. No slop, no bent pins. They simply work. Did run one of the other carts without one this week, wishing it was higher on the list to switch.
They aren't cheap but they work very very well. Keep it greased.

Got one on a fertilizer spreader. Liked it so well I bought 2 more for other equipment. Made the biggest difference on my sprayer. The booms stopped flopping around when you come to an abrupt stop and the hitch would slam on the pin. Even the smallest amount of slop really transfers to the boom

Where did you get the one for your spreader? I am looking to put one on our BBI liberty spreader but the rail/channel that the hitch would bolt in is only 3" wide I haven't had luck finding one that narrow.

Look close at my pics below, had to weld new plates for the bolts anyway since the old hitch was really sloppy.

There is also Power pin out of Canada. I had to get one of theirs to match the attaching plate on one of my implements. Some of theirs have slightly different dimensions than the bull pull has

On some of our bigger silage carts, running in north Dakota, they have pulled one apart, I forget the exact details, but the bolts didn't break, I believe the cast housing broke. Keep in mind, 620hp tractors and 100,000+ behind them.

Bought a planter with a BP and liked it so much every tillage implement got upgraded. Combined with UHMW spacers, there's no movement/clunking with bonus of zero drawbar wear.
Two downsides -- Price and makes it more challenging to get the drawbar pin lined up (and back out).

On the getting pin back out part...try pulling the pin before jacking the implement up. Have the jack at the ready, but just barely touching the ground. Most of the time can take the pin out with 2 fingers

Got the smallest one on the spin spreader, nothing but good things to say about that.
Note, Had to make a bushing for the smaller pin on JDs and left a shoulder on top so it would not get lost, older Deere hammerstraps are not wide enough in the throat, had to add a one inch spacer, just make sure the hitch can rotate its full range without binding on the drawbar
Also made an adapter so I could pull it with pickup or any other common single drawbar.

Well I'll be the odd man out, have one on a field cultivator and hate it, EXTREMELY hard to get the pin in and out. Have to be lined up perfectly or the pin won't go in and any little bit of pressure on the hitch and you can't get the pin out.

Only issue I have had with them is the snap ring that holds in the bushing not staying seated for some reason. I welded together some grade 8 thick washers to act as a spacer to stop the hitch from moving up and down the drawbar pin as much and it seems to have taken care of that issue. Otherwise we haven’t had a lick of trouble out of the two we have on our Artex manure spreaders.
