| We have two RB46 Challenger balers, which are the same as a Hesston 846, I believe. Good solid machines, that can handle twenty eight feet of dry hay at a rapid pace. The pick-up is fast and aggressive. We try to make mostly dry hay to store inside, but have baled wet hay and wrapped when weather dictates. The new Massey baler has a lot of the same parts and have as good of reputation as other more popular brands, model number may be 2946. Massey (Agco) has a new model that is of European design, don't remember the model numbers. One or two in this local area and are in a league of their own. Fast and reliable hay eating machines. | |
