SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ | In 2008 9417 VT3 had the highest net return per acre when combining the northern iowa and southern mn F.I.R.S.T. trials. In other words it had high yields AND fast drydown.
This year it was beating like maturity corns like 48-37 and 46-60 dekalb.
It is a very stable hybrid across a range of soil types.
The 9417RR refuge corn was also very good this year. It topped my plot and was as good as the VT3 version .
9523 VT3 was a real barn burner this year. I believe it topped the Martin county trials and was in the top 10 in the first trials. | |
