Lapel, In | Lucky you. What a storied old fieldhouse. Went to several games there myself as the old Marion County sectionals were held there. One of my best high school memories was getting to play there as a senior.Didn't get to play long, but its still something I will never forget.Just knew I could dunk it---not.
Only thing to top it as far as basketball goes is when I got VIP treatment by a special friend who took me into Assembly Hall in Bloomington. That was when I was going through chemo the first time. He was an I.U. student manager at the time. So weak, I could hardly do a layup.lol. I have been so BLESSED in my lifetime. | |
