central Indiana | what a day..sort of mild for December, the sunlight shinning thru the large windows in the end of the field house,a packed house with fans to the rafters, and free tickets to Butler v Ohio State..my son knows Darnell Archey {Butler assistant} and he gave us the tickets. Hinkle has not changed and today's game reminded of some of the early Indiana-Kentucky All-Star games that used to be played at Hinkle..At times the fans roared as when the Dogs went up by 12 in the first half. Ohio Sate has Thadd Matta and Brandon Miller on its bench and as former players and coaches at Butler and they know something of basketball also..so back came Ohio State but fear not Butler again gained control late and after letting a 15 point lead evaporate won by about 5...and Tony Hinkle smiled down on us all | |
