Neighbors have a cradle on a step deck to haul a Deere 4730 sprayer they have a kingpin mounted on the front belly of the sprayer and a small 5th plate/latch assembly on the trailer drive on and king pin latches just like hooking up a semi-trailer, drive on and down the road they go, when unhooking pull the rod just like any other 5th wheel and back off works pretty slick.

There are a few setups like that around here. Drive the sprayer on, lock into the 5th wheel mounted at the front, drop the air suspension on the sprayer, throw two chains on the back then air your suspension back up to tighten the chains. I know that they have been stopped by the cops and the dot here and no one has given them a rough time over having the sprayer tied down like that.
