Neighbors have a cradle on a step deck to haul a Deere 4730 sprayer they have a kingpin mounted on the front belly of the sprayer and a small 5th plate/latch assembly on the trailer drive on and king pin latches just like hooking up a semi-trailer, drive on and down the road they go, when unhooking pull the rod just like any other 5th wheel and back off works pretty slick.

I’ve seen a few setups like this before and always wondered how it was muster a DOT inspection. Doesn’t seem to fit load securement definitions.
