A simple $300 modification on your current baler will make it eat stalks like mad. The roll belt series will eat them pretty good too,

What’s the 300 dollar secret? NH dealer and mchale are great dealers. I know of alot of 7070 crop cutters that were traded in bc cornstalks were painfully slow. I haven’t seen the newer roll belts in field. The only 4x6 bales I make are cornstalks and some are 4x5 so losing the 6 foot ability I’m not too worried about. All forage is baled wet and line wrapped. Stalks are hit with a discbine and raked then baled. Not sure I could pull the trigger on a new 460 or 450 crop cutter and be baling stalks at 1 mph ( maybe a little faster).
