I hope they address some of the other issues they have had. I like the looks of the wide stance option for pulling in our hills. Probably have to wait for a bigger displacement enforcement because the Cat C18 has been king for almost 20 years and nobody has tried to knock it off yet. Their 14 liter and smaller engines won't do it in the hills.


Have you tried a newer Challenger 867 with the 16.2L Man engine? 673 hp. @ 1700 rpm with maximum torque of 2286 ft lbs. @ 1450rpm. Would think it would compare favorably with the C18.


They will have the Fendt here and no Challengers any more. They have sold 2 so far but with the CVT changes we will need to try it before buying. We also have a 620 quad track that won't pull like the C18.
