SEMN | Updating balers. Currently run br7070 crop cutter new Holland. Only issue I have with new Holland is it takes forever to make corn stalks. Currently bale with a 115 hp 4 speed power shift tractor. Based on hp requirements I should be alright but the mchale weights 1500 lb more than the br7070 empty. If push comes to shove I can put 150 hp tractor on. Not really trying to set any speed records. My 12 year old baled all hay and oats last year. Probably will be the same this year and he favors the 115 hp tractor. All bales are baleage with the exception of corn stalks. This year I guess I’ll baling rye straw. I know I’ll be paying for the capacity and might not be using it to max capacity but it will be worth it in corn stalks. Anyone know any differences in the 660 vrs the 6750? Thought about keeping my nh and adding another nh but I’ll need both running when doing stalks and thats not going to work. Opinions on the 3 belt or one single? | |
