nw illinois | It wouldn't have to be disked under just because it was for AcreMax. Otentimes there is a little seed in our area that is destroyed and it is not company specific. Usually has to do with purity issues such as goosenecked corn that can not be detassled to standards.
Technically speaking the seed production wasn't AcreMax, it was either HXX or HX1. It would not become AcreMax until it is blended and put in the bag.
If you are "well connected to the industry on the seed production side" aren't you a little ashamed to admit to find it "entertaining" when a grower (even if for a competing company) has some misfortune?
