North East Kansas | Actually it looks like this is just plain very buggy software. I did go through precision plantings instructions, but I have found such weirdness. This update is called a stable version, but they must have a different definition of that. There is a message at startup that tells you to make sure to turn the master switch off before you leave the cab when you shut everything down. It says when you turn the master switch on it will make the message disappear, but it doesn't make the message disappear unless you turn it off and then back on again. Turning the master switch off and back on suddenly fixes the planter, and the units are no longer disabled. Turning the master off and back on fixes this problem, but then makes the radar not work. I have gotten everything to show its working finally if I do everything in a certain procedure. I have to make sure to go to the radar screen when the planter units are still disabled. I need to get the radar to read first, and then I can turn the master switch off and back on, and then it all works. If I cycle the master switch before making the radar register, then the radar will say missing signal and never work. So far I am very annoyed because this is pretty buggy software. | |
