East Central, Nebraska | i have heard reports from two operators upgrading to the new firmware with not great results. first one sat most the day not knowing what was going on as his seeding was disabled like you say and was also having problems with load cells. second guys 2020 locked up and keeps locking up. the dealer around here that i am familiar with typically gives it a little time and gets some reports back before he recommends upgrading. i don't do too much with PP but with any brand i like to read the release notes and see where the new release applies to me. if it applies to an aspect i do not participate in i leave it alone.
i am all for most current updates on everything but i don't want to be the first one to try them. so your results are typical to what i have been hearing. the gen3 in our operation on my brothers planter will likely wait for an update as it functioned fine last year.
