North East Kansas | My precision planting dealer recommended I upgrade my software on my gen 3, 2020. I had just set the planter up before I updated and everything worked great. In fact, when I set my planter down to set the level from front to back I noticed that my load cells were reading the down pressure. After I installed the update my load cells will no longer show anything. I did find a spot on the downforce where I put in monitor only since my load cells are just for monitoring down pressure, but that didn't fix it. I still have no readings. I also noticed that for some reason the seeding is disabled. My dealer told me that I needed to write down the measurements for the tractor and planter before updating so I did that, but after the update it already had all my measurements correctly so that wasn't an issue.
Has anyone run into this with the new update? The update was called 2022.0.0
I knew I shouldn't have updated, but I didn't think my dealers would steer me wrong. Please help if you can!
Also, could I go back to older software so I could plant?
I'm not sure if this could be my problem, but my precision planting dealer told me that if I show more than 1 file to use the one without parenthesis. I only had one file, but I did notice that it had parenthesis in it. For instance, the file is supposed to say 2020Gen3-full-2022.0.0.img but my file said 2020Gen3-full-2022.0.0(1).img I wonder if that could be part of the problem.
