Had similar issues with an 8410.
Do you know to clamp the fuel cooler hose on the front of radiators while priming?
My problem turned out to be the o-ring on suction side of primer pump, between elbow and housing. We had replaced all the rubber rings on joints, and the rubber fuel lines for the cooler.
Also check the black plastic lid on the fuel separator is not loose.
