| I bought these tanks with the steel plates in them from Randy at heartland tanks in South Dakota. It is just 1/4” flat plate. Bolted in with carriage head bolts and some kind of black sealant. We made the holes for the drain and the bulkhead.
It’s still freezing at night here and I needed these right now so that’s why I went with steel. Concrete is probably cheaper and more durable. We have more to do this summer and will do them with cement. Cement would also make placing the tire simpler. | |
