We have done this small scale. Don’t know that I’d make a habit of it due to shrink but it can be done. As long as it’s on concrete, pile it straight and tarp it like you silage. Too fine and gooey to pack but with the tarp to seal it your spoilage will be minimal just some moisture shrink. Get a fresh load to start calves and blend into your stored pile once they are eating decent just in case it smells different after storage. Mod it’ll work better straight, wet it’ll need mixed with dry matter be my experience.
