Subject: RE: Drying Corn Cheap??

NC IA
I would buy bin with floor, small cont. flow dryer and portable holding bin. If you cont. flow and cool in bin, small dryer will do a lot. When bin is full let it cool couple days and haul to town. If you want to set up another bin with air, for wet corn holding bin, you can fill that with wet corn at end of year freeze it and sell before it gets warm. By the time you are finishing up corn should be dryer to store. From stories I heard this year bin dryers where not to efficient and had to be unloaded a few times. I think no matter what you will want a few bins just to give you a little control of your marketing.
