I suppose a lot would depend on whether you thought you could do this job yourself, without sending it to the dealer. From what I read, currently sounds like labor would be the biggest part of the bill, over parts. The wrong failure, and the labor would still be there, but the parts might match it. If I could do it myself, had the place to do it in, since we are now entering the winter months, I'd probably pull it apart. Always seems to be one problem with trying to "nurse" something thru a said period of time. It "always" flies apart when you need it the most, and definitely don't have the time to work on it.
