We've been doing a pretty high % of our corn acres with fungicide. Never been real happy with aerial application and ground rig isn't practical.
Biggest issue with aerial application is the % of the field that doesn't get applied due to overhead powerlines, buildings and trees. On some pieces of ground its nearly a 1/4 of the field that doesn't get applied (or its dropped from 200' in the air) but we still get charged for it. Can see it plain as day when the corn starts dying in the fall.
Think it will fly?
