Paul,

Yes it works, we have been doing it for a few years now. The way we have it setup is the flow meter is inline from the pump to the rig where we have it setup with diaprhams like a sprayer has and orfices (also we try to run orfice that give us no less then 20 psi on the rig to ensure even application across the rig). The flow meter is hooked to a Raven 440 controler with the rate set to manual and the correct boom width set in the controler you can monitor the rate. It doesn't peg on say 60 but will go from say 59 to 61 on the reading. Sure is nice to have.
