Ethridge, TN | It's demand, I think more than what it actually costs to build the tractor. The MFWD has been a high demand, priced on "what the market will bear". As said, row crop use, cause there are lots of folks who just don't like the articulated steering of the 4WD. Lots of folks simply equate the 4WD with heavy tillage, and since the move has been to less tillage, there has been a better market for the MFWD. The price difference is even there in the new purchase. | |
