South Central MN | We had similar light glitches on a 645c. Very intermittent. I suspect it was a ground issue because it'd work for a while then we'd add some new monitor or something and mess with the battery cables and it'd come and go. No real solution though.
Regarding monitors and getting power to them, especially high-amp power: Figure out a way to build a bus bar anywhere else on the tractor but the battery compartment. The battery compartment on our 645c was very tight, and got worse after adding numerous different monitors and controllers. I hated re-wiring stuff in there every time we added something new. Plus, there is no "clean" way of hiding cables in that tractor cab without removing all the side covers under the RH switch panels, and those are already stuffed with electronics. If this is going to be a planter or strip till tractor with lots of monitors, stop now and try to figure out how to future-proof your install, because it is not fun running cables through that machine repeatedly.
The CVT is amazing and as was stated you probably don't need leds for most of the lights unless you don't like the existing hids. We were usually satisfied with the lighting. | |
